A dream of becoming an online entrepreneur
In world of computers and virtual networking everything happens in Internet. Most of the business nowadays happens via Internet. It was during my engineering graduation when I became more crazy about blogging and websites. I had few bunch of friends who were sharing the common interests. One fine day I thought of making a blog on mobile phone reviews and some technology tips. I started this in Blogger.
After few days I purchased a domain for this blog and was concentrating more on posting contents to website. I was trying many search engine optimization techniques to make this blog come up in the first page of Google results. For this I had to post many contents to the website each day, so that the website is up to date. I use to check Alexa and Google page rank of the website daily. The website was having pretty good number of visitors, Later I planned to monetize the blog, so I applied for Google Adsense.
Initially for my website, the Google Adsense rejected the application, since the blog was less than 4 months old. So after a month, I applied again and Google Adsense approved my application. That was one of the happiest day of my life. Within two days Google Ads started displaying in my website. Everything was fine and the blog was improving. But that was the time when my Semester exams began. So, I was concentrating more on exams and was not able to manage the website. This was the time the domain was about to expire. But I was not aware of it and one day during exams the domain got expired and it wasn't mine anymore, due to non-renewal of domain. I realized this while I was enjoying my vacation. After that I lost interest in Blogging. Now it is a comeback, where I have started a blog a bit more professionally and seriously. Thanks to Rita Boro, who is my Communication teacher who brought this in academics. Now, here I am, writing this, after completing my fourth post. I will be back soon with new and more interesting topics regarding hosting soon. So, with this I would like to tell you that "time and tide wait for none".
